Responsible for maintaining all grill activities from the preparation of grill and meats to cleaning and general maintenance of the grill area. Ability to multi-task on a busy grill and in addition to grilling meats, be able to grill vegetables and cook other items such as bacon and eggs.
This position provides support for all restaurant kitchen activities with the main responsibility of product stock and rotation and line work for food prep and plating. The Kitchen Assistant generally works on our toppings and fry stations or a rotation of both.
Responsible for the maintenance of the dish area; collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, washing dishes by both machine and hand and dish put-away.
Greet and seat incoming guests, monitor waiting list when necessary, and inform Servers of their seated tables; clear and clean tables. The Host/Hostess may also answer phones and complete transactions for take-out orders. Tips may apply for take-out.
Responsible for ensuring guests have an enjoyable, quality dining experience through providing friendly, efficient service of food, beverages, and desserts. Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage choices, take and deliver orders, refill drinks. Tips apply.
